The client is a medium‑sized confectionery producer based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, one of India’s major candy manufacturing hubs. The factory supplies hard candy, flavoured boiled candy and pan‑masala‑style candy across Madhya Pradesh and central India. They planned to upgrade old semi‑manual lines to raise volume, cut labour cost and stabilise product quality.

Challenges

1. Original semi‑automatic machines required many operators; labour cost kept rising.

2. Unstable cooking temperature led to high reject rate, uneven candy shape and colour.

3. Old equipment could not produce multi‑flavour, two‑colour candy for new seasonal SKUs.

4. Hot summer climate in Indore put higher requirements on cooling system efficiency.

5. Client needed a solution with reasonable investment budget, suitable for mid‑scale Indian factories.

Our Solution

We delivered a full‑automatic hard candy depositing production line, including vacuum cooker, mass feeding unit, servo depositor, forming moulds, long cooling tunnel and inline conveying system.

• All candy‑contact parts adopt food‑grade 304 stainless steel, compliant with India FSSAI hygiene requirements.

• Servo depositing system supports single‑colour and two‑colour candy production, flexible mould change for different shapes.

• Optimised cooling tunnel design, strong cooling capacity to adapt Indore’s high‑temperature working environment.

• We provided full installation guidance, online technical training, operation manual in English, and spare‑parts package.

Result

• Rated capacity: 220‑260 kg/h, doubled previous output.

• Candy rejection rate dropped from 8‑10% down to below 2.8%.

• Labour requirement for this line reduced from 8 workers to 3‑4 operators.

• The factory launched new two‑colour festive candy lines, expanding its product portfolio for Indian holiday seasons.

• The line has run continuously since commissioning with stable performance.
